Funding Framework:
SMEs can receive funding for R&D development and experimentation, including software development:
In Germany:
- up to 60% of costs
- grants of up to 336,000 € per SME and up to 3,000,000 € per project
In Czech Republic:
- up to 80% of costs
- grants ranging from 120,000 € to 2,000,000 € per project/SME (if the SME is the sole applicant)
Research organizations can receive funding only if collaborating with SMEs:
In Germany: up to 100 % of costs
In Czech Republic: up to 85 % of costs
Funding is provided through the ZIM – Kooperationsprojekte program (Germany) and the Aplikace – International Collaboration program (Czech Republic).
